Six months after Sarah Abitol's revelations on the actions of her former trainer Gilles Beyer, who allegedly raped and sexually assaulted him several times, around twenty coaches were questioned. Justice was seized, announced the Ministry of Sports on Thursday.

The Ministry of Sports announced Tuesday that the General Inspectorate had seized justice at the end of its mission to investigate the facts of violence in the world of figure skating which highlighted suspicions weighing on about twenty coaches. Among these 21 coaches, twelve would be implicated for "facts of harassment or sexual assault", of which three were sentenced in the past to firm terms of imprisonment or with suspended sentences. Most of the other cases concern "physical or verbal violence".
