On Monday, the City Council of Karlshamn called an extraordinary meeting to decide again on an increased budget for the new building on Östra Piren. The City Council agreed in its decision. The municipality writes this on its website.

This was the second time the City Council voted in favor of increasing the budget from SEK 300 million to SEK 430 million. The need to vote a second time is due to the fact that municipal councilor Per-Ola Mattsson (S) - who is chairman of Netport's board - has been accused of misconduct, which BLT was the first to report.

At Monday's vote in the City Council, none of the politicians who can be accused of inconsistency were present. This means that the politicians in the parent company Stadsvapnet, Karlshamnsfastigheter and Netport Scicence Park did not participate.

In the past, the Municipal Board in Karlshamn has once again voted in favor of an increased budget.
