The Rouen Anti-Crime Brigade (BAC) arrested on the night of Monday to Tuesday a teenager who had broken into a restaurant. The 15-year-old broke a window to enter the establishment and steal cooking utensils and alcohol.

On their arrival there after the report of a broken glass, the police saw the suspect, installed behind the bar, who was consuming alcohol directly from the neck, reports 76actu .

Placed in a sobering-up cell

BAC agents waited for the suspect to leave the restaurant before arresting him. The drunken miner was holding a bag in which was a bottle of gin, two of vodka, two knives and a drill bit. The teenager was taken to the police station, where he refused to give his identity and take a breathalyzer test.

His very agitated state prompted the police to pin him to the ground to subdue him. He was then placed in a sobering-up cell. It was the officials of the canine brigade who identified him. The teenager is a young homeless man already known to the police after an arrest in July.
