Three journalists from the sport service of France Televisions accused of sexism by Clémentine Sarlat were dismissed by the management of the channel. While the world of sports journalism is shaken by a case of sexism, the presenter of the channel L'Equipe TV was the guest of Europe 1, Monday. Returning at length to the place of women and her personal experience, she regretted an excessive generalization: "We are in the process of casting shame on an entire profession", she repeated several times.

In April, journalist Clémentine Sarlat created a stir in the pages of the daily L'Equipe , accusing certain journalists from France TV sport of sexism. She added that the latter had precipitated his departure from the editorial staff. After an internal investigation, the management of France Television proceeded to three layoffs and a reprimand, announced Saturday the Parisian .

Affirming that she only has information published in the press, Estelle Denis denounces "nullissimes" and "displaced" valves on the part of journalists against Clémentine Sarlat. Nevertheless, the presenter of "L'Equipe d'Estelle" asks: "Are we firing someone for that? I don't know", adding that the words of those fired had not been heard .

No problem of sexism "in 20 years of career"

Estelle Denis also evokes her "20-year career" during which she says she has never suffered sexism or discrimination. "I've been called 'my darling' for 20 years, I've never found it degrading. I've always seen it as a mark of affection." She regrets that the image of her profession is thus soiled: "Today you read social networks and you have the impression that all sports journalists are pigs, but that's not true. I work in an editorial office with elegant, nice guys [...] there are also cool guys in our work. "
