Barcelona rejected an offer to sell a young player for 60 million euros, although this player cost the team only 30 million euros, and has not yet played any meeting with the Catalan club.

The Spanish newspaper Sport (SPORT) reported that Barcelona received the offer from one of the English Premier League clubs, to sign a young Portuguese player, Francisco Antonio Machado Trinkao.

The Catalan club signed Trincao last January for 31 million euros, in a deal whose architect was famous agent Jorge Mendes.

Barcelona rejected the offer despite the fact that the price of the player doubled in just 6 months, which confirms the administration's plans to rely on the player, along with other young men, to pump new blood into the team, which is always required to compete for the big titles.

The 19-year-old Trinkao has not yet participated with Barcelona, because the team left him with the Portuguese club Braga to complete the season, and he is scheduled to join the Catalan club from next season.

It is noteworthy that the Portuguese player signed a contract with Barcelona until 2025, and the penalty clause for breaking the contract was set at 500 million euros.
