"According to the regional forestry dispatch services, over the past day, August 3, 48 forest fires were liquidated in Russia on an area of ​​2,593 hectares," RIA Novosti quoted the message.

By the end of the day, 60 forest fires were recorded in Russia, which were actively extinguished.
