“As of last Friday, the incidence rate in Estonia was 2.6, whereas a month ago it was 1.0,” he said.

According to him, 43 cases of the disease were detected in the republic in a week, of which 24 were concentrated in Tartuk County.

Ratas also stated numerous examples of the country's residents "forgetting about the coronavirus." He added that this is forcing the Estonian authorities to "look at the situation differently."

At the end of July, Estonia extended the restrictions on flights to Russia and seven other countries due to the situation with COVID-19.
