SVT reported on Sunday that the Kronoberg region now has the capacity for large-scale testing of antibodies. And on Monday, the news also came that the region is now starting the general sampling.

The test - which is taken through a blood sample - will cost SEK 200 for the individual. To take the test, you must have been healthy for at least 14 days.

- We are pleased to get started with the antibody tests for the public now. Demand is high. We have seen from our blood donors that the proportion who have antibodies is about 4 percent, so the vast majority will not have antibodies, says Mikael Johansson (M), chairman of the regional board.
