Tang Hengyi, deputy director of the Urumqi Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, stated that in order to reduce the burden on the masses and enterprises during the epidemic prevention and control period, the policy of the Urumqi Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security is "the lower limit is not raised, and the individual can defer payment." Individual industrial and commercial households and flexible employees who participate in the basic endowment insurance for enterprise employees in their personal capacity can continue to implement the lower limit of the personal payment base for 2019.
He said that individual flexible employees who have real difficulties in paying basic pension insurance premiums for 2020 can voluntarily postpone their payment and continue to pay until 2021. The payment period is cumulative. If you need to defer payment, you can use the mobile APP or go to the community to suspend payment, or you can take the method of not depositing money in the bank card. Because the social security fee is automatically deducted by the bank, if the payment suspension is not handled, the balance in the card will be automatically deducted.
For all types of enterprises, the Urumqi Human Resources and Social Security Bureau implements a policy of "exemption and deferment" of payment of social insurance premiums. All insured small, medium and micro enterprises in Urumqi can continue to enjoy the partial exemption policy for the three social insurance unit contributions of basic pension, work-related injury and unemployment until the end of December this year. For engineering projects that have already levied work injury insurance premiums before the promulgation of the extended exemption period, the difference will be refunded. For companies that are experiencing serious difficulties in their production and operations affected by the epidemic, they can postpone the payment of social insurance premiums until the end of December this year. Late payment fees are exempt during the postponement period.
Tang Hengyi also said that in addition, the Urumqi Human Resources and Social Security Bureau will further expand the types of social security services such as online, handheld, telephone, and mail services to ensure uninterrupted social security services during the epidemic.
