The Public Works Department in Sharjah inaugurated the Islamic World Park located near the university city on Sharjah Al Dhaid Road in the presence of the head of the department, Engineer Ali Bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, and the general manager of the university city, Khalid bin Butti Al Hajri, and a crowd of engineers and visitors.

Engineer Ali Bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi confirmed that the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, embodied that the garden includes paintings bearing the names of Muslim scholars and Islamic inventions and a summary of their history and period of their preoccupation with these sciences and the information was beautifully laid out with drawings.

He added that His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah adopted this project for his insightful vision of the importance of religion being linked to science and his desire to weave the names of Islamic nation scholars in an Islamic garden whose essence is reflection and its goal is to improve education and enhance awareness within the framework of sustainable development and preserve Islamic and Arab traditions.

He pointed out that this garden contains information on 16 Muslim scholars so that culture and knowledge enter our world and our children and youth so that the garden intellectually nurtures them by just glimping them while they are passing through the park.

The park includes all services, including family sessions, services and facilities, in addition to outdoor children's play areas, the first of which is on an area of ​​1400 square meters surrounded by rubber floor and the other with sandy floor on an area of ​​400 square meters.
