According to the website of the National Health Commission, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 45 new confirmed cases from 0-24 on July 31, including imported cases from abroad. 6 cases (4 in Shanghai, 2 in Guangdong), 39 local cases (31 in Xinjiang, 8 in Liaoning); no new deaths; no new suspected cases.

　　On the same day, 15 new cases were cured and discharged, 589 close contacts were released from medical observation, and 2 severe cases decreased from the previous day.

　　There are 80 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 3 severe cases) and 2 suspected cases. A total of 2,069 confirmed cases, a total of 1989 cured and discharged cases, and no deaths.

　　As of 24:00 on July 31, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are currently 714 confirmed cases (including 39 severe cases), a total of 78,989 cured and discharged cases, and a total of 4,634 deaths. A total of 84,337 confirmed cases have been reported, and there are 2 suspected cases. A total of 789,742 close contacts have been traced, and 20,278 close contacts are still under medical observation.
