According to BelTA, Lukashenko said this at a meeting with the head of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova and the head of the presidential administration Viktor Sheiman.

According to him, "special attention should be paid to ensuring security at polling stations."

“Because more and more often I receive information that not everywhere they want to hold the presidential elections calmly,” he said.

Earlier, Lukashenka said that the preservation of the country is more important than the elections.

Currently, the election campaign is underway in Belarus within the framework of the presidential elections, the main voting day is set for August 9.
