01 August 2020 German police stopped the coronavirus denial demonstration in Berlin, which had gathered around 20,000 people. Deutsche Welle reports.

The procession started from the Brandenburg Gate heading for the Tiergarten park in the center. With the slogan "Corona, false alarm", to protest against restrictions due to fears of a new wave of the epidemic in Germany.

After a few hours, the security forces arrived on the spot and with the loudspeakers they imposed the dissolution of the procession, which thus failed to cross the long avenue that cuts through the park. Berlin police have reported that they will initiate legal action against the organizers for "failure to comply with hygiene rules".

The rally had only been recorded for 1,000 attendees but, at one point, the police estimated that 20,000 people were present. Almost all without a mask.
