The numbers in Italy and in the world

There are 705 people hospitalized with symptoms, 11 fewer than yesterday; in intensive care there are 43, two more; in home isolation 11,709 (+44).

The total of currently positive is 12,457 (+35, compared to yesterday).

255 people have been discharged and healed in the last 24 hours; over two hundred thousand (200,229).

The dead since yesterday are 5 more for a total budget of 35,146 in Italy since the start of the pandemic. Total cases increase by 295 units to 247,832.

In Lombardy 55 positive and one death

With 8,419 swabs carried out, 55 new cases of Coronavirus were registered in Lombardy, therefore falling compared to the seventy-seven of yesterday. Of these the 9 'weakly positive' and 13 following serological tests. Inpatients were growing albeit slightly: nine in intensive care (+2) and 158 in the other wards (+10) while a death occurred which brings the overall total to 16,807. Among the provinces, the largest number of cases occurred in Milan with 17 new positives, 9 of which in the city, both followed by 11 Bergamo and Brescia.

In a note the Calabria Region announces that the three new positives have been intercepted by the screening conducted on 79 migrants in Crotone.
