The serum antibody test result of this case was negative for IgM antibody and positive for IgG antibody. So far, he has no symptoms. The source of infection in this case needs to be clarified, but it cannot be ruled out as a local case.

  The command center stated that the case is currently being hospitalized and treated in isolation. The health unit has known 89 close contacts of the case, and 17 have been inspected.

  There have been several suspected local cases in Taiwan in the past three months, and the outside world is worried that there are asymptomatic infections in the Taiwanese community. The person in charge of the "Pandemic Epidemic Command Center" stated that there may be asymptomatic infections, but they are still only sporadic cases and the threat to the community is limited.

  The remaining 6 confirmed cases were all imported from abroad, all male, aged in their 20s to 70s, the date of entry was between July 15 and July 30, and the onset date was between July 10 and July 31 day. The locations of the cases before the onset were the Philippines and Guatemala.
