Earlier, the DSP of the FSB of Russia announced that the activities of a cell of the extremist organization Tablighi Jamaat * had been suppressed in the Volgograd region.
A criminal case was initiated against the organizer and five members of the cell for organizing the activities of an extremist group.
* "Tablighi Jamaat" is an international religious association recognized as extremist and banned on the territory of Russia (decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation of 05/07/2009).
