The statement says that "Iran's nuclear, missile and military programs pose a serious threat to international peace and security."

It is noted that the State Department "defines 22 specific materials used in connection with Iran's nuclear, military or ballistic missile programs."

"Those who knowingly transfer such materials to Iran are now subject to sanctions in accordance with Article 1245 of the (US) Iranian Freedom and Counterproliferation Act," the agency said.

At the end of June, the United States extended its sanctions list against Iran.

It was reported that Washington added eight entities to the list associated with anti-Iranian sanctions.
