According to CNN, the former Republican presidential candidate Herman Kane died of COVID-19 at the age of 74.

  Kane is a staunch supporter of US President Trump and serves as the co-chair of the "Trump Black Voice" organization.

  After participating in Trump's campaign rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 20, Kane was diagnosed with new coronary pneumonia on June 29, and was hospitalized after his condition deteriorated on July 1. According to US media reports, at least eight Trump team staff members have been diagnosed after the rally.
