A video clip documented powerful and moving words of a Palestinian girl from occupied Jerusalem. The occupation informed her family of the demolition of their house in the Silwan neighborhood, calling for stability and non-surrender.

"We were asleep and the Jews knocked on us, they told us to vacate the place, take your things, gold and money, we do not have gold and money, this is - in reference to the house - we went, our money and all our lives," said the 10-year-old girl, Lamis Abu Sobeih.

And holding her tears in an attempt to hold together, she continued, "The most difficult thing is to destroy everything with our hands (with our hands), an indescribable feeling, a great shock, and the occupation steals our joy and works to disperse us."

"We have no other refuge, but we will not surrender, as they told us - my mother and my father - this house we built for God, and this is the land of Rabat, and the Holy Land."

The girl, Lamis, offers a lesson in persistence, and she says, "But we will not give up, even if they are torn down, we will not give up, even if we live in a straw house, we will not give up."

It is noteworthy that the family of Iyad Abu Sobeih began to empty her house in Silwan, occupied Jerusalem, in preparation for demolishing it after the occupation municipality forced them to do so under the pretext of not licensing.

Abu Sobeih lives with his wife, six children, and his parents (10 individuals) in this house, and they are seriously threatened to stay on the street.
