The Charente-Maritime gendarmerie launched a call for witnesses Wednesday evening after a sexual assault of a young minor on the island of Ré. The facts go back to last Monday in the early morning near the beach of Gollandières, in Bois-Plage-en-Ré. While she was lost and then fell asleep in the night while trying to return home, a man sexually assaulted her when she woke up, specifies Sud Ouest.
According to the testimony of the vacationer, her attacker is a man in his forties. He was put to flight by someone passing by on a bicycle at the time. The gendarmes are trying to find this passerby.
In case of elements, contact the Saint-Martin-de-Ré gendarmerie brigade on 05 46 09 21 17 or by dialing 17.
