"The embassy has received an official notification from the Main Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus about the detention of 32 Russian citizens in the republic," the embassy said on Twitter.
On July 29, the state Belarusian agency BelTA announced the detention of 33 Russians in Belarus, 32 of them were detained in a sanatorium near Minsk.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko reacted to the situation.
