Sofie Persson and her partner Jens Nylund moved to Ljungarum in Jönköping a month ago. Some moving boxes remain in some corner, but otherwise they have already come in good order in the condominium apartment, which has 3.5 rooms.

The couple decided early last winter that they wanted to move from their tenancy and make an investment in something of their own. Then came the virus outbreak but they still went on screenings.

- We started looking before the corona came to Sweden and it has been about the same pressure all the time. Lots of people at all screenings, says Sofie Persson, who is a graphic designer.

No private viewing

Some brokers offered private tours, but at the couple's last tour in May, it did not happen.

- We asked for a private viewing, but did not get it. There were a lot of people at the show and you felt pressure when people were out in line, she says.

Although the couple had wanted more time and space to control everything, they still decided to buy the home.

- We were very delighted and wanted the apartment. In addition, we had lost another bidding earlier. This apartment felt unique with everything that is included, such as a gym and the opportunity to have a cultivation plot, says Sofie Persson.

Hidden bid

Sofie and Jens placed a hidden bid, which turned out to be the highest bid.

- It went very fast after the screening on Sunday. On Monday, when the bidding was underway, we placed a hidden bid at lunch and at 3 pm we wrote on the papers, says Sofie Persson.

In the clip, you see Sofie tell about how they came across the apartment despite fierce competition.
