  At 10 o'clock that day, the Jiangsu Provincial Water Resources Department changed the release of the Taihu Lake flood warning, from orange warning to yellow warning. The warning said that at 9 o'clock on July 29, the average water level of Lake Taihu dropped to 4.49 meters, which was still 0.69 meters above the warning water level and is expected to slow down in the later period.

  At 11 o'clock on the same day, the Department of Water Resources of Jiangsu Province changed and issued the flood warning for the Jiangsu section of the Huai River, from orange warning to yellow warning. The warning said that at 10 o'clock, the water level at Xuyi Station on the Huaihe River dropped to 15.40 meters, still exceeding the warning water level by 0.80 meters, and is expected to slow down in the later period.

  According to the website of the Ministry of Water Resources, the water level of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the Dongting Lake and Poyang Lake fluctuate slowly. The rivers and lakes along the river in Hubei, Anhui and Jiangsu will maintain high water levels; the water level of Taihu Lake will continue to recede; the water level of the upper and middle reaches of the Huai River will generally recede. The water level of Hongze Lake is close to the peak; Sichuan Dadu River, Minjiang River, Tuojiang River and other rivers may have over-alarm floods, and some small and medium-sized rivers in the rainstorm area may have large floods.

  In Jiangsu, the rising water level that has lasted for nearly two months has reached an inflection point recently. At present, the water level in Jiangsu section of the Yangtze River, Huaihe River and Taihu Lake is slowly receding.

  According to reports from the water resources department, fluctuations in the mainstream of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River are slowly receding, and the rivers and lakes along the Yangtze River in Hubei, Anhui, and Jiangsu will maintain high water levels; the water level of Taihu Lake continues to recede; the water level of the upper and middle reaches of the Huai River generally recedes, and the water level of Hongze Lake is close to the peak.
