- We have had major problems with thefts. The reason is that waste is resources and resources are money, explains Eva Favaro, communications manager at Vafab Miljö.
Car batteries, mobile phones and home electronics are some of the items stolen by the thieves. To overcome the thefts, the staff has been trained in how to handle situations with the perpetrators and the re-use has been adapted to make the theft more difficult.
More measures in the future- There have been slightly fewer thefts, but unfortunately they continue. We will continue to look at solutions to counter theft. Camera surveillance can be a way, says Eva Favaro.
