His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, discussed, during a telephone conversation with the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sameh Shoukry, brotherly relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance mutual cooperation in a number of areas.
His Highness and the Egyptian Foreign Minister also discussed a number of issues of common concern, including the situation in Libya and ways to support efforts to achieve a political settlement to the Libyan crisis.
The two sides discussed the pandemic developments of the emerging corona virus "Covid-19" and the efforts of the two brotherly countries in facing its repercussions.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the support of the UAE to the great and benevolent efforts made by the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt to reach a political solution to the Libyan crisis and achieve security and stability for the brotherly Libyan people.
His Highness also stressed the historical and strategic relations that bring together the UAE and Egypt and enjoy the support and care of the leaderships of the two brotherly countries, and the constant concern to develop them and develop aspects of joint cooperation in all fields in the interests of their peoples.
