According to the news from the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Commission for Discipline Inspection: Recently, with the approval of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Party Committee, the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Autonomous Region has conducted serious violations of discipline and law by Wang Zheng, a member of the 12th Party Committee of the Autonomous Region, former member of the CPPCC Standing Committee of the Autonomous Region, and former vice chairman of the Population, Resources and Environment Committee. A case was filed for review and investigation. Judging from the relevant information released, the first problem is "violating political discipline and engaging in superstition activities."

It is not difficult to comb through the news to find that many corrupt officials who have fallen off the horse have a "hobby" of feudal superstition. Some of them burn incense and worship Buddha at home for a long time, and arrange "backing stones" in the office; some move the tombs of the elderly in the family to the "gem shui treasure place", hire Feng Shui to do the dojo, etc., which cost tens of millions; some chant mantras, chant sutras, eat fast and worship Buddha every day. I still have to meditate for two hours at night; some regard the so-called "masters" as senior advisors and guest guests; some regard organizational investigations as "the impermanence of life" and attribute the cause of the fall to the ancestral grave; When writing explanatory materials, I wrote Buddhist sayings such as "Revealing the Truth" and so on many times in order to bless and eliminate disasters. These sacked officials usually talk about Marxism-Leninism on the stage. In fact, the ideological position has been occupied by feudal superstition.

In the final analysis, officials’ superstition is that there is a problem with their ideals and beliefs. It is also a deviation in their outlook on political achievements and career. They regard the positions and status they have obtained through hard work as gifts from gods and Buddhas. They often use superstition to bless their official career and prosperity. On the other hand, they use their power to provide various conveniences for superstition activities. This not only caused his life to slip on the wrong path and was severely punished by the law, but it was also likely to spoil the local officialdom and breed formalism and bureaucracy. For these few officials who do not believe in Marxism-Leninism and ghosts and do not ask the common people about ghosts and gods, they must be dealt with seriously in accordance with discipline and law.

Chanting can't keep you safe. Career is done, and a good life is struggling. The safety and happiness of a small family cannot be separated from observing discipline and law. The long-term stability of the country depends on the rule of law thinking and the rule of law. This is the basic common sense of being an official.
