A serious road accident left several injured in Waziers, near Douai, in the North on Monday, we learned from the firefighters. Witnesses to the accident intervened with the victims before help arrived.
Around 4 p.m., three cars collided in an accident "with high kinetics" according to the firefighters. The photos also testify to the violence of the shock. The help was quickly notified and the firefighters of Douai, Sin le noble and Somain intervened.
Three victims got out of their overturned car
But even before their arrival on the spot, the witnesses of the scene were able to free three people trapped in one of the vehicles, which was on the roof, to then lay them down on the roadway in the shelter. Two of the victims were seriously injured according to firefighters. The third was more lightly affected.
Three other people, distributed in the other two cars, were shocked but unharmed according to the emergency services. The victims were all transported to the Dechy hospital center.
