The China Remote Sensing Satellite Ground Station successfully received the data of Ziyuan-3 03 satellite

Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, July 28 (Reporter Dong Ruifeng) The reporter learned from the Institute of Aerospace Information Innovation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on the 28th that the China Remote Sensing Satellite Ground Station affiliated to the Academy has successfully received data from the Ziyuan-3 03 satellite.

The Ziyuan-3 03 satellite was launched on July 25. It is one of the satellite missions planned for my country's space infrastructure in the 13th Five-Year Plan. Together with the Ziyuan-3 01 and 02 satellites currently in orbit, they form a three-dimensional surveying and mapping satellite constellation in my country.

It is reported that on the morning of the 26th, the Miyun station, the ground station of China's remote sensing satellite, successfully tracked and received the first orbit downlink data of Ziyuan-3 03 satellite for the 16th lap. Afterwards, the Kashgar station also successfully completed the data reception task of the resource three 03 satellite as planned. On that day, the China Remote Sensing Satellite Ground Station received a total of 120GB of satellite data. All the received data was transmitted back in the first time, and the processing was normal.

The Ziyuan-3 01 and 02 satellites were launched in 2012 and 2016, and the China Remote Sensing Satellite Ground Station is responsible for satellite data reception tasks. During the eight years, the ground station has completed more than 20,000 orbits of the Ziyuan-3 series satellite data reception mission, and the received data volume reached 897TB, ensuring the long-term stable acquisition of my country's high-resolution three-dimensional surveying and mapping data.
