"We would like to urge all customers who bought pizza dough with tomato sauce to come back to us with the product," Lidl writes in a press release.
The product should not be consumed due to the risk of ingesting metal objects.
The recall applies to pizza dough with a best-before date between July 24 and August 24 and has been sold in all Lidl Sweden stores. Other products of the brand Chef select are not affected.
“We at Lidl Sweden apologize and take what happened seriously. Consumers who have purchased the product are welcome to return it to the place of purchase, or to the nearest Lidl store. Of course, customers get their money back, even without presenting a cash receipt ", the chain writes.
