The concerned authorities in the UAE announced five measures and precautions that define the responsibility of individuals in facing the spread of the new Corona virus (Covid-19), during the blessed Eid Al-Adha period, according to what was announced during the media briefing on the latest developments of the virus, and the official website of the state government UAE.
The caveats and guidelines included: setting up Eid prayers in homes, options for buying and distributing sacrificial animals, distributing "Eidia" and donations, defining the requirements of social visits, and adhering to preventive measures in public places, while focusing on the importance of protecting the elderly and chronic disease owners, by applying physical distance policies.
This comes to preserve the safety of community members, and within the state’s efforts to contain the virus, and to preserve the positive results achieved by the health system in the country during the past period.
And called on the relevant authorities in the state to adhere to the decision to establish Eid al-Adha prayers in homes only, in order to preserve the safety of worshipers, and to prevent the spread of the virus, provided that the takbeer over the feasts are transmitted through visual and audio means, and many Muslim countries have announced similar steps, as part of efforts to contain the virus.
The UAE has identified three ways for individuals to purchase and distribute Eid sacrifices, where it is possible to coordinate with charitable societies in the country to purchase and distribute sacrifices, or through smart applications concerned with sacrifices, or through slaughterhouses determined by the local authorities, which include the application of precautionary and preventive measures, and provide services to customers in Vehicles without entering livestock or slaughterhouse markets.

The relevant authorities have defined requirements governing some societal customs during the Eid al-Adha period, which included avoiding family visits and gatherings, stressing avoiding visiting pregnant women, children and people most affected by Covid-19 disease, and those with chronic diseases, not allowing them to leave the home, and avoiding going to places The public, for their health and safety.
She warned against holding special celebrations in homes, farms and gatherings, noting that events are limited to a limited number of family members and relatives of first and second class only, with full commitment to precautionary measures, such as maintaining a safe distance between each person, not less than two meters, and following procedures Sterilization, and avoid handshaking, as well as the use of single-use paper dishes and tools, stressing the continued application of stringent punitive measures to violators of precautionary measures.

Health authorities in the state stressed the need to continue adhering to preventive measures, calling on individuals not to tolerate the application of these measures in public places, according to the protocols announced.
