According to the "Europe Times" report, at noon on July 26, local time in France, the first shooting competition of the overseas Chinese in France ended successfully at the Well Instrument Gun Fair in Le Coudray-Montceaux, 91 province. Wu Changhong, Zhu Xiaofeng won the men's and women's category respectively.

  The current shooting friendly match was jointly sponsored by the French Foreign Legion Veterans Association, the French Overseas Chinese Association and the Well Gage Gun Association, co-organized by the major participating associations in the overseas Chinese community in France.

  Just after 8 o'clock in the morning that day, the presidents and representatives of the major associations of overseas Chinese in France who signed up for this friendly match rushed to the shooting range of the Jingyi Gun Club.

  Under the arrangement of the organizers’ professionals, the contestants were divided into 7 groups. After basic explanations of gun use knowledge, site safety, and French gun use regulations, the contestants began to experience a 10-meter 20-round pistol shooting experience.

  Subsequently, the 20-meter pistol shooting competition officially began. According to regulations, the contestants shoot 10 bullets in the shortest time, and the one with the highest number of hits is the winner.

  As a result, in the men’s competition, Wu Changhong from the China Street News and Chen Xudong, the president of the European Zhejiang Chinese Friendship Association, both hit the 72nd ring, but Wu Changhong’s 10 rounds and 25 seconds were faster than Chen Xudong’s 10 rounds and 32 seconds. Won in 7 seconds and won the men's championship. Chen Xudong was the runner-up. Zhu Hongjian, the executive vice president of the French Wencheng Friendship Association, won the third place with 71.

  The top three players in the women's competition are: Zhu Xiaofeng, President of the China-France Women's Chamber of Commerce, Cai Jingrui of the Chinese Integration Safety Coordinating Committee of Auberge-Villiers, France, and Tan Xiangfei of GELLE FRERES.

  At the end of the competition, Ren Limin, chairman of the French Association of Overseas Chinese, congratulated and thanked the winners and the presidents and representatives of major associations of overseas Chinese in France. Ren Limin said that the match that day fully demonstrated the spirit of unity, integration, and active work of the overseas Chinese in France. Ren Limin hoped that the representatives of the overseas Chinese leaders of the major associations in the overseas Chinese community in France will continue to actively carry forward the fine traditions and make unremitting efforts to create a harmonious overseas Chinese community and promote the continuous integration of the majority of overseas Chinese in France into the mainstream French society.

  Xu Dayu, president of the French Foreign Corps Veterans Association, thanked the major associations in the overseas Chinese community for their support for the shooting friendly match. Xu Dayu said that the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia epidemic has made everyone aware of the importance of physical fitness. Only a strong physique can enable everyone to do more beneficial things for society while developing their own careers.
