The big budget film "Tenet" from director Christopher Nolan will finally be released internationally on August 26 before the United States, where the film will not arrive in a limited number of theaters until early September.
This is the fourth release date announced by the studio Warner Bros., which had initially set July 17 but had to extend the deadline to July 31, then to August 12, before choosing the 26, due to aggravation. of the coronavirus pandemic.
"Tenet" will be visible in more than 70 countries from that date, including most of Europe, Canada, Australia and South Korea, according to a statement transmitted Monday to AFP.
For the United States, Warner Bros. has left a few more days and is also counting on the important Labor Day holiday weekend, with a release on Thursday, September 3.
Most cinemas in the country are now closed.
The largest cinema chain in the United States, AMC, recently postponed its gradual reopening between mid-August and the end of August, without a specific date, against the end of July so far.
