Sharjah Municipality revealed the establishment of a temporary market for citizens of owners of private homes to sell sacrifices.

The market will be held in the area of ​​Umm Fenin on a large area to display livestock, to limit the random sale of sacrifices during the Eid al-Adha period, as well as to equip the livestock market in the Jubail region and provide monitors and inspectors to organize the entry and exit process, while obliging them to preventive and precautionary measures.

The municipality confirmed that the parking will be subject to fees on the day of the free pause in Arafa, "the first, second and third days of Eid", with the exception of the areas subject to fees, throughout the week and official holidays, and neighborhood parks will receive visitors from four in the afternoon until ten in the evening.

During the announcement of the end of its readiness to receive the blessed Eid Al-Adha, the municipality indicated that it had developed a pre-emptive plan through an ad hoc committee to ensure the safety of all members of society, and to provide service according to high standards, noting that it had equipped the central abode in terms of hygiene, ventilation, sterilization, workers and veterinarians to supervise the slaughter and examination operations The sacrifice before and after slaughter, and providing the sacrifice delivery service for homes at a small fee.

She cautioned against dealing with the street roving because of the danger they pose to health, given that the sacrifice is not subject to examination. The director of the Municipal Control and Inspection Department and the head of the Preparation Committee for Eid al-Adha, Adel Omar, said that this year the municipality established a temporary market for citizens with private homes in Umm Fennin on a large area to display their livestock, and was fully equipped, providing parking for farm owners and parking for visitors, and coordination with Sharjah Police General Command to regulate entry and exit traffic, and receive the public from 7/20/2020 until 2-2020, indicating that the municipality has provided a number of veterinarians in the market to examine the sacrifice before purchasing it, to limit the indiscriminate sale of sacrifices during a period Eid, which is not usually subject to inspection before purchase. He stressed that the municipality equipped the livestock market in the Jubail region, where entry and exit were identified for the market, providing monitors and inspectors to organize the entry and exit process, according to specific numbers, while obliging them to adhere to the preventive measures of wearing masks and gloves and maintaining a safe distance, and urged them to complete the purchase process quickly and not Being on the market for a long time.

For his part, the head of the Food Control and Veterinary Services Department Omar Al-Muhairi confirmed that 60 central butchers and workers and 15 veterinarians were provided in the central slaughterhouse to supervise the slaughter and examination of sacrifices, indicating that the slaughterhouse receives customers from the first to the fourth days of the feast from six in the morning until six in the evening .

The director of the Public Health Department, Dr. Amal Al-Shamsi, confirmed that the inspection teams of the Health Supervision Department will intensify their inspection visits to barber salons and beauty centers, to ensure their commitment and adherence to all precautionary measures and conditions necessary to provide an appropriate and healthy health environment within the salons in general, and that contributes to reducing The spread of the "Covid-19" virus.
