The facts took place this Monday morning around 10 am, in a home in Lingolsheim, near Strasbourg. A woman in her twenties, of Ukrainian origin, attacked other asylum seekers who are hosted by the association Horizon Amitié.

Armed with a knife, she injured four people, including a man very seriously. The latter, whose vital prognosis is committed, was transferred to Hautepierre hospital. The assailant was subdued by the police before being taken into custody.

According to residents of the home quoted by the Latest News from Alsace, the attacker would suffer from psychological concerns. "About a month ago, she hit two children in the home," one of them told the regional daily.
