RAS AL KHAIMAH - And His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, ordered the release of 110 prisoners from the Punitive and Correctional Institution in Ras Al Khaimah who are serving various penalties and who have been sentenced in various cases on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
This comes within the framework of His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah keenness to give the released prisoners another opportunity to start a new life and alleviate the suffering of their families.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al-Khaimah, directed the head of the Judicial Council to take the necessary measures to implement the order of His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al-Khaimah to release those covered by the pardon from the inmates of the Punitive and Correctional Institution in the emirate, in coordination with the General Command of Ras Al-Khaimah Police before Eid Al-Adha .
His Excellency Counselor Hassan Saeed Muhammed, Attorney General of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah said that the honor of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi for the pardon of some of those convicted comes within the framework of His Highness’s keenness to give those covered by the amnesty the opportunity to reintegrate into the fabric of society, and to bring pleasure and joy to the hearts of the families of those released and their families .
