"The total number of people who have recovered in the Russian Armed Forces has increased to 8645 people," RIA Novosti quotes a message from the department.
The ministry added that the total number of cured civilian personnel rose to 1,023.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense announced the successful completion of clinical trials of a coronavirus vaccine developed in cooperation with the Gamaleya Research Center.
On July 24, the Vector Center for Virology and Biotechnology received permission from the Ministry of Health to conduct clinical trials of a vaccine against coronavirus.
