On Sunday, an interrogation was held with the arrested taxi driver, a man in his 25s and 30s, after Friday night's taxi drama in Borlänge when several people were hit and injured.

After questioning, the prosecutor's office issued some information about the suspicions against the man.

The man denies the crime

According to the press officer at the Public Prosecutor's Office, Annika Collin, the man denies all criminal suspicions directed against him. She reproduces what the on-call prosecutor has stated in the case of the arrested man:

- The prosecutor believes that the suspect has been upset with one of the people, but in what way it happened, the investigation must show, Annika Collin tells SVT.

Based on the emergency prosecutor's statement, it is not clear whether the suspect has aimed the car at a certain person.

Requested detention

On Monday, the case will be transferred to a regular prosecutor. No later than Tuesday, prosecutors must decide whether the man should be requested to be detained or released.

The prosecutor's office's press service has no information about whether any of the injured are seriously injured. According to Region Dalarna, three people are being cared for with minor injuries after the incident.
