North Korea declared a "state of utmost emergency" after suspected the first infection with the Coruna virus, while Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro announced his recovery from the virus.

The North's official Korean Central News Agency described the infection as "a suspected feline virus who returned on July 19 after illegally crossing the border demarcation line."

Pyongyang had previously said that no cases of Covid-19, the disease caused by the Coruna virus, had been recorded, and that the country's borders were still closed.

"The fugitive went to the south 3 years ago" and was found in Kaesong, a border town with South Korea, the agency said.

It quoted President Kim Jong Un that the government had taken "precautionary measures by imposing a complete closure on the town of Kaesong" on July 24.

Brazilian President

For his part, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro announced that the tests confirmed his recovery from infection with Corona virus.

He said in a post on his account on social media that the result of the fourth test of the Corona virus was negative.

Bolsonaro has been quarantined since he was diagnosed with the virus on July 7.

And medical examinations conducted for him for the third time confirmed his infection with the virus, until the result of the fourth test was negative.

It is noteworthy that Brazil is the second largest country affected by the epidemic globally after the United States.

In Brazil, the virus has killed 85,385 people, and infected two million and 348 thousand.

According to the World Meter website that specializes in monitoring the victims of Corona, the number of injured people around the world reached 16 million and 198 thousand and 781, while the number of deaths rose to 648 thousand and 399, and the number of people recovered approached 10 million people.

Arab region

In Iraq, the Kurdistan Regional Government decided to reopen the doors of all mosques to worshipers, after closing them last March as part of its plan to reduce the spread of the Corona virus.

The Ministry of Interior said, in a statement, that worshipers who perform congregational prayer must adhere to the instructions of the Ministry of Health, the most important of which is wearing masks, and taking into account the distance of social distance. The number of mosques in the Kurdistan region of Iraq exceeds 5500 mosques.

As for the Sultanate of Oman, the decision to completely close the governorates of the Sultanate and prohibit the movement of traffic and the closure of commercial stores came into effect from seven in the evening until six in the morning local time.

The decision, which will continue to be implemented until the eighth of next August, is based on the decisions of the Supreme Committee in charge of discussing a mechanism to deal with developments resulting from the spread of the Corona virus in light of the increasing number of people infected with the disease during the past weeks.

The cases of infection with the virus in the Sultanate as of Saturday were about 75 thousand cases, and 371 deaths.

Earlier yesterday, the Moroccan Ministry of Health announced the registration of 811 new confirmed cases of the new Corona virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of people infected with the virus to about 19,645 cases.

This outcome is the highest daily since the emergence of the virus, and the Ministry of Health has called for adherence to the rules of hygiene and health safety, and to engage in the precautionary measures taken by the Moroccan authorities with full patriotism and responsibility.

In Egypt, the Ministry of Health said Saturday that 511 new cases were recorded, the number of deaths reached 40, while Yemen monitored 5 deaths.
