A duel won, a tackle to score and an angry joy: Olivier Giroud, again scorer, ensured Chelsea's qualification in the Champions League on the last day of the Premier League. Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba will also see the C1 with Manchester United.

- Giroud, the man of the "restart"

6 goals in 7 starts in the league since the resumption in June. Chelsea can say thank you to their French striker, a great architect of the club's qualification in the Champions League. By scoring the second goal of his team during the reception of Wolverhampton (2-0), the Blues striker allows the Blues to finish in 4th place in the Premier League, synonymous with C1.

With this eighth league goal this season, the French have 86 units on the clock in the Premier League. He is the third tricolor top scorer behind Thierry Henry and Nicolas Anelka.

And the season is not over for Giroud and his teammates, qualified for the Cup final against Arsenal on August 1 and still in contention in the Champions League even if the task seems very compromised after a 3-0 defeat at home against at Bayern Munich in the 8th leg.

- Pogba and Martial back in C1

Last season, the Frenchies of ManUnited, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial had to settle for a qualification in the Europa League. Next season, they will return to the Champions League thanks to their 3rd place in the Premier League, obtained after their 2-0 success at Leicester, a competitor in the race for the C1 which finally finished 5th.

Like Pogba, the Mancunians did not really shine. Unstable passes, lack of speed, the French midfielder seemed blunt like some of his teammates after a fourth game in ten days. Sandwiched by two Foxes players, Martial got him a penalty, transformed by Bruno Fernandes for the opener before Jesse Lingard aggravated the score at the end of the match.

- Lloris in C3

Hugo Lloris could not do anything on the powerful strike under the crossbar of Jeff Schlupp during the draw conceded at Crystal Palace (1-1). But the essential is assured for the goalkeeper of Spurs and his compatriot Moussa Sissoko, holder in the midfield but limped out. They finish sixth in the Premier League and qualify for the Europa League. Almost unexpected when we know that before the arrival of José Mourinho in November, the north London club was only in 14th place.
