Spain's largest daily newspaper reported that the number of deaths in Corona19 could be up to 60% more than the government's official figures.

Daily El Pais said in an online report yesterday (26th) in local time that the number of Corona19 deaths across Spain is estimated to be 4,868 to date.

El Pais has not been identified as a corona19 infection among fatalities in Spain's local health authorities. He reported that there are many.

The widespread difference between the estimated number of deaths and the actual count, as corona19 diagnostic tests have not been extensively conducted in Spain.

El Pais' estimate of Corona19 deaths is similar to the difference between the number of deaths in the first half of this year and the number of deaths in the same period of the previous year as calculated by the Spanish Statistics Office (INE).

According to the Spanish Bureau of Statistics announced last month, the number of deaths nationwide from January 1st to the 21st week of this year was 43,000 945 more than the number of deaths in the same period last year.

In Spain, after the national emergency, which was declared as a Corona 19, ended in the past month, mass infections have occurred in Zaragoza and Catalonia in major cities such as Madrid and Barcelona.

On the 24th, as the signs of virus re-proliferation became apparent, with the number of new daily confirmed cases exceeding 900, the Spanish government is warning of a second infection and is expanding its containment measures again.

Spain's cumulative corona19 number is currently 31,501.
