Hungary's prime minister, Viktor Orban, told state radio on Friday that the country should prepare for a possible second wave of Coruna virus outbreaks in October and November, although the spread of the virus is likely to slow in summer.

Urban added that if the authorities can reduce the death rate from the epidemic in Budapest, where 80 percent of deaths are recorded, then only the restrictions currently imposed in the capital will be eased.

Hungary will lift much of the restrictions in rural areas from next Monday.
