As established by the investigation, Dmitry Borodaenko from Kemerovo published in the "Memory Bank" a photograph of Adolf Hitler for broadcast on the website "Immortal Regiment of Russia". The department emphasizes that Borodaenko acted "with the aim of approving the crimes determined by the International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg."

“In addition, no later than May 2, Maxim Gusev from Perm, pursuing the same goals, posted a photograph of the traitor to the Motherland, SS Gruppenfuehrer Andrei Shkuro on the Memory Bank website,” the UK said.

Criminal cases were initiated under Part 1 of Art. 354.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia (Rehabilitation of Nazism, that is, the approval of crimes established by the verdict of the Nuremberg military tribunal, committed in public).

The suspects have been questioned and their homes have been searched.

Earlier it was reported that cases due to the publication of a photo of the Nazis in the "Immortal Regiment" are being investigated in Perm, Samara, Kazan, Ulyanovsk, Volgograd, Tula and other cities.

On July 7, it became known that the UK has completed the investigation of two criminal cases on the publication of photos of the Nazis.
