The criminal court in Dubai spent a year in prison and a fine of 30,000 dirhams against a Gulf student, who defrauded an employee and used a copy of her identity and driver's license to rent a luxury car, and hid behind the veil to receive it, and kept the vehicle until the victim accumulated 30,000 dirhams, and was surprised by a phone call from the police Dubai to demand payment of the rental car that was not used.

The Public Prosecution directed the defendant to commit felonies for forgery, the use of forged documents and the seizure of other people's money.

The employee in the prosecution’s investigations said that she received a call from Dubai Police stating that she had arrears of 30,000 dirhams to a car rental company to obtain a Mercedes vehicle, so she told them that she did not rent any car, so she was summoned to the police headquarters and presented a copy of her license and identity to her, so she acknowledged that they were correct and returned To her, I asked them to see the lease, and I found out that the signature was not her.

She added that she immediately remembered sending her ID photo and license to a Gulf woman to buy a car from the latter, pointing out that that woman had defrauded her in the process of selling that car, but she was able to get her money back, and later realized that she used her ID and license to defraud a car rental company.

An Arab employee of the rental company said that a woman phoned him asking about cars for rent, so he offered a number of them, and chose a luxury Mercedes car with a daily rent of 1200 dirhams, so he asked her for a driver’s license and identity through the “WhatsApp” application, so he sent him their photos and coordinates at the location of her house in an area Al Quoz fourth, and he made a one-day contract for her, and he went to it, so a veiled woman came out to him as an owner of the ID and the license.

The employee added that the woman called him later and asked to rent the car for a full month and told her that the value was 24 thousand dirhams, so she did not mind and kept the car in her possession for more than three months until she accumulated 75 thousand dirhams, and she paid 45 thousand dirhams, and 30 thousand dirhams remain on it on the basis that she She will pay it later, but she delayed, so he told her the necessity of handing over the car so that no other amount would accumulate, and checked the whereabouts of the car during her rental period, went to an address where she was most of the time, then handed over the car from an elderly woman as her mother, and filed a complaint against her at the police station For refraining from paying, she was surprised to have impersonated another woman.

The defendant paid 45,000 dirhams in the rental of the vehicle and declined to pay 30,000 dirhams.
