The fire was alerted just before 7 pm on Saturday. According to the rescue service's internal commander Kristina Henriksson, rescue service personnel extinguished the fire inside, and then continued to extinguish the attic with the help of a lifter / skylift.
Fire personnel from Hammerdal and Strömsund participate, external officers from Östersund have also been sent to Strömsund.
No people have been in the house and no one has been injured. There was no risk of spreading to other buildings.
