The Director General of the Fujairah Municipality, Eng. Mohamed Saif Al-Afkham, stressed the possibility of canceling the violations recorded on the housing of Mohammed bin Zayed City in the Emirate of Fujairah, due to additions made by their owners without consulting the responsible authorities, in the event of removing the reasons that necessitated editing the violations, pointing to the existence of mechanisms to make any internal additions In housing.

He explained that the homeowner must bear in mind that any change, modification or maintenance in which the architectural nature of the facade should be taken into account, and that the additional works correspond to the shape of the existing residence, stressing that it was allowed to install an umbrella, Interlock and Caravan with conditions that must be followed and not violated.

Al-Afkham continued that an account should be registered for the customer through the customer service centers or the website, then submitting the application in the urban planning department and choosing the type of service for each permit, and consequently attaching the land plan stating the location of the canopy or the interlock or the caravan with specifying the measurements.

He pointed out that whoever wants homeowners in the city to make building additions, he must first obtain a building permit from the Buildings Department, then assign an accredited consultant from the Fujairah Municipality to submit an application to approve architectural plans for the Urban Planning Department, and attach the approval of the Ministry of Infrastructure Development to the required addition, In addition to the architectural plans for the existing residence. He stressed that the approval of construction plans and a request for a building maintenance permit will be in the municipality's buildings section, pointing out that during the inspection tours of the dwellings, some irregularities were observed, and it was revealed that the owners of the dwellings did not take any permits around them, despite being aware of the conditions of maintenance and additions therein, while handing them over.

He pointed out that the warnings and violations that were detected in the city during the past days are canceled if the citizen removes them, or submits a permit in the section designated for them, as the municipality allocated two service executives to complete the transactions related to additions and maintenance in the new Mohammed bin Zayed City, and permits are approved through transactions Electronic facilitated by the municipality to maintain the health and safety of customers.
