And it used in this project many technological applications such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of things platform, advanced driver assistance systems, geographical locations systems, facial recognition technology, and 3D imaging, and the system was applied to 250 vehicles, carried out during the first quarter of this year, 43,828 checks In 16 driving training institutes, the project contributed to reducing the time to extract records by 75%, providing accident reporting time by 75%, and also contributed to providing 60,000 sheets of printing.
Smart channels
Al Tayer listened to an explanation about the system of booking license dates and checking vehicles through the Dubai Drive smart application, and the initiative to develop a smart phone application for subscribers to the vehicle safety service, which allows subscribers to evaluate companies, drivers behavior, geographic tracking and vehicle data, as well as an explanation about the digital transformation project for drivers licensing In which drivers license services are re-engineered, with the aim of facilitating and providing them in the form of digital trips, enhancing customer governance, security and credibility of data, and developing drivers licensing services on smart channels without papers, and this project will contribute to reducing the average number of visits from 14 visits to zero visits to delivery centers Drivers licensing services, reducing the carbon footprint from 18 thousand tons equivalent to CO2 emissions to zero, and increasing the number of service delivery channels from three to six channels. The project will also support the paperless government strategy by achieving savings in printing four million sheets .
Matar Mohammed Al Tayer stressed the need to continue to employ smart technologies in various operations in the authority, so that all the transactions submitted to the customers are completed without the need to seek the services of employees of the service centers, as well as the use of artificial intelligence techniques, big data and (blockchain) to improve the services for the customers and achieve happiness for them .
