Toulouse FC, relegated from Ligue 1 and the biggest budget announced in Ligue 2, will open the debates for the new season against Dunkirk, one of the two promoted, on Saturday August 22 at 3 p.m.

The other club relegated from L1 at the end of a season truncated by the coronavirus, Amiens, will also have the home advantage to start its L2 season against AS Nancy-Lorraine, at 19:00.

The other promoted from the National, Pau FC, will move to the field of Valenciennes, while AJ Auxerre will host FC Sochaux-Montbéliard.

Of the 10 matches of this first day, nine will take place on Saturday and only one Monday, August 24, between Troyes and Le Havre, two other former leaders of the L1 in search of renewal.
