The police describe them as "hysterical". Wednesday evening around 8:45 p.m., three young women tried to steal the handbag of a woman sitting on the terrace of the bar l'Angélus, located at the corner of the Place de la Mairie, in Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine ). Fled by a witness to the scene, the two sisters aged 15 and 19, helped by a friend also aged 19, returned a few minutes later armed with broken bottles to threaten the customers of the bar.

Alerted, the police of the night anti-crime brigade were able to arrest the three suspects. The older of the two sisters had already been disarmed and overpowered by a man who witnessed the scene. In the fight, furniture was overturned on the terrace of the establishment. The man who intervened was slightly injured.

Already known for violence

According to a police source, two complaints were filed. In police custody, the older of the two sisters, who lives in the Paris region, allegedly admitted the facts of violence and attempted theft. When the police arrived, the latter had also outraged the officers present. Already known for acts of violence, she will be summoned to court in 2021, along with the other major. Aged 15, her sister will be followed by the territorial open environment educational services (Stemo).
