He stated that the return of the employees to the office hours went through six measures to ensure their safety, the most prominent of which was the conduct of "Covid-19" checks for all government employees to ensure their safety before returning to work.

Bin Khadim indicated that the procedures for the safe return of employees to their workplaces included conducting free Corona checks for all employees of the Sharjah government, which are still ongoing, issuing a guide for the precautionary measures to be followed in offices, and excluding and exempting some categories of employees from office hours, and defining responsibilities Government agencies, employees, and auditors, continuing to provide all training and qualification diplomas and programs through e-training techniques, continuous awareness of sending messages through the platforms of government departments to employees with prevention and safety procedures, sterilization and processing of workplaces according to the procedures followed and recommended in the country, and the launch of a system to evaluate employee performance remotely.

He pointed out that the gradual return to the workplaces, until it reached 100%, went through six procedures and stages, as it started by issuing a circular to all the departments and departments in the emirate by starting to supply the workplaces according to security and safety precautions in preparation for the return of the employees to the workplaces, and then the department in cooperation with the Ministry of Health And social protection, represented by the Sharjah Medical Zone; By implementing “Covid-19” checks for all government employees to ensure their safety before returning to work, then the department issued a manual to return to work, which contains all the instructions and measures for the stage of returning to workplaces, after which the stages of gradual return began, to begin announcing the return by 30 %, Then 50%, and finally 100%.

Bin Khadem explained that during the Corona crisis, the Department of Human Resources of the Government of Sharjah issued a circular to the departments and bodies on precautionary measures and preventive measures to preserve public safety and health, then a series of decisions began under the directions of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, And the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, as part of deliberated and graduated steps according to the crisis data, as a decision was issued to activate the remote work system for some categories of employees represented in «pregnant employees, employees People with disabilities, those with chronic diseases and immune deficiencies, in addition to employees from the age group over 60 years, then sterilizing government agencies to ensure a safe environment for employee safety and protection.

He continued: “The Sharjah government included its decisions to preserve the safety of its employees, as it announced the beginning of the crisis to apply remote work, in line with emergency and exceptional circumstances, and within the precautionary measures that the government directed in light of the global crisis of the emerging Corona virus, in order to limit its spread, and to preserve the safety The category of employees and dealers, and as a guarantee of business continuity, then the department issued the guidelines for remote work, which contributed to clarifying the mechanisms for implementing the system of remote work, and determining the responsibilities of government agencies and employees ».

He pointed out that the department has been keen, throughout the period of work remotely, to implement continuous awareness across all its electronic platforms about the capabilities of applying remote work plans with professionalism and high quality, and to make the best use of the digital environment, pointing out that the government of Sharjah has been keen on continuous education on information security policies through Virtual training programs, due to the importance of raising security awareness for employees in the digital world.
