The head of the French Center for Space Sciences, Jean-Yves Le Galle, said that the UAE has turned the impossible into a possible formal entry into the club of big countries in the space world, by sending it a probe of hope to successfully accomplish a mission on Mars.
He added in an interview with Emirates News Agency in Paris that the whole world followed the giant UAE achievement, and applauded the very impressive mission.
He continued, "The global space community, when he learned of the UAE’s intention to conduct a mission to Mars, did not take the matter seriously and did not appreciate the strength and vision of our Emirati partners ... but today, as he follows the Emirati probe, he is successfully launching and making his way with a transmission to accomplish the mission set for him, It was confirmed to him and the evidence wisdom and foresight by the leaders of the UAE, who charted their country a clear path towards the ranks of the big countries, and we, as a global space community, are very happy that the UAE has joined us, this year we strengthened our ranks with the UAE probe which was launched from Japan.
The French space official expressed the pride of France in general and the French Center for Space Sciences, which he heads, at the level of partnership between the two countries in the field of space science and technology as in the rest of the fields, stressing that "our relationship with the United Arab Emirates is historic, and it really started before the establishment of the UAE Space Agency, We worked together and launched the first Emirati satellite via the Ariane missile in 2011.
